Libraries connect us, building our community, expanding our world, and changing lives. Through fundraising and advocacy, we amplify public investment in the Pleasant Hill library to make a great library extraordinary.

Libraries are where we connect, to each other, our community, and the world.

A child mastering the alphabet during story time … a teen doing homework in a safe environment … a retiree settling into a comfortable chair with a new book … an adult connecting to the internet to find a job.

The Pleasant Hill Library sees more than 1,200 visitors every day. People of all ages go to enjoy books and media, get help learning to read, develop job skills, do homework, and much, much more.

The Library fosters lifelong learning with programs for all ages, including 5 weekly story times, family nights and maker events, after school activities for teens and tweens, music and author talks for adults, tech support, a weekly ESL conversation group, 3 monthly book clubs, and more.

Pleasant Hill library is now 66 years old and needs to be replaced to keep up with increased demand and new technologies.
